losing Someone

Image
As we grew up, we just stop valuing people who are around us, or due to our studies or work commitments we just stop giving them time, and hence when they are no more with us, we realize their importance in our lives . This year was quite tough for me and my family. My dad lost his sister and my mom lost her brother, eventually, it was quite difficult for me to see them like that. It was such a trauma for me and my brother because they were not that aged and were in there 50s and 30s respectively. The starting days were quite difficult because I couldn't digest the fact that they are gone. I couldn't sleep at night and used to just think about them continuously and the memories we had together. Another most difficult thing to see was my mom was very depressed due to the loss of her brother, there were times when she used to cry, she used to say that she was not there during his last breath, she started to overthink a lot so I decided to indulge her into few new things. My visit to INS Chennai(D65)

On 31st July, 2019 I and my friends went to visit the ' Navy Exhibition' which was taking place in Ballard estate. It was conducted by the Indian navy.  I was very excited to visit that place and see Indian warships. So me and my friends were about to meet at CSMT station. During those days, Mumbai was suffering from heavy rainfall and people were asked to avoid traveling. But still, we decided to go there. From CSMT station we started finding taxis also known as ' Kali Peelis' in Mumbai. Almost every taxi driver was denying to go to that place. We were wondering why are they not taking us there, then while waiting for almost 7-8 minutes, we finally found someone who took us to that place. When we reached there, we saw a gate where there was written 'Ballard Estate'. Now I was totally confused about where to go because I couldn't see any ship. Then, we walked towards the gate and found a lot of crowds. As soon as we entered, there were artifacts of n...

My Childhood Days

So I am a 20-year-old girl. So during my childhood days, my dad was in the navy, so we used to live in Navy Nagar (a place where all naval people live with their family). As a naval brat, my dad always used to get transfers and all, so we just used to change places. I have been to Goa, Dehradun, Vishakapatnam, etc and in the end, he was transferred to Mumbai, and from that time I'm here landed in Mumbai " The city of dreams " as it is known to be. So there was a place where I used to go with him to swimming. Good old days!! But I couldn't ever learn as a small kid. There used to be a tube around my body and I used to just play in the water. My dad used to tell me, " push your legs in this manner, move your hands properly" and all those sorts of things. But as a small kid, I just used to love playing in the water. So, days passed by and my dad retired from the Indian Navy. Then, he got a job in a company, which was very far away from where we used to l...
