My Swimming Experience

My vacation was going on!! So one morning when I woke up I thought that I should learn something, so I decided to learn how to swim...I told my mom and she said that "ha Chalo leke jaati hu time".I was soo much excited to learn swimming.

So I Just started finding some nylon or synthetic clothes. after a time span of 45 minutes, I found it. Then I booked an ola, when I was in the cab I was very excited but was nervous too!! .After some time we reached there. We made a visiting pass for 10 days. We started walking towards the academy. We were skimming our eyes to find where were the swimming sessions going on..  after 5-10 minutes we found the place .Then we started walking towards the changing room, While I was walking I could smell the chlorine water, I could hear people screaming, which just made me more nervous. Then I just changed my clothes and I was going towards the pool.

There I saw the trainer. She asked my name,I told her "Poonam"  I also told me that "I don't know how to swim, will I be able to learn within 10 days ??".
The trainer said, "ya you might learn in 5-6 days".

At that time. I was feeling very nervous, my heart was beating like wedding drums. The trainer told me to get inside the pool.I saw my mom and I gave her a fake smile....and started going inside the pool. There was a ladder kind of a thing through which we are supposed to go. The trainer told me to take a floater. Now I took it and placed it around my waist. Slowly and slowly I started getting inside the pool, firstly my right leg. The water was very cold, I could feel the chills in my entire body then I slowly put my left leg inside the pool Slowly and slowly I went inside it. I could feel the water touching my belly. The trainer shouted at me!! "come fast Poonam". So I slowly started walking inside the water and went towards her. She gave me a few instructions. Basically what I was supposed to do was hold a rod with both the hands and I was supposed to kick my legs.

Now when I started doing it was very difficult for me, it was just 10 seconds and I could feel the pain in my arms and legs. Even a little bit in my shoulders. I took a break and I again started doing it. After some time, the trainer came and she told me to put my shoulders completely inside the water and do the process. Then I did it, slowly I started getting the technique and after 15 minutes I was very comfortable in doing that. By the way, my best friend are my spectacles they have "no demands and no complaints!!! ", so when I was in the pool I was without them. Basically, my vision was blurry I couldn't see clearly, but I knew where my mom was sitting. She was watching me while I was doing it. I was trying to impress her, I was pushing myself a lot so I could do it properly. She was telling me "yes ", "good", "keep your legs straight ".I was seriously enjoying the process. The session was 45 min, after that, I came out of the pool.

Day 1 went amazingly well. When I came home my entire body was very sore. On that day I started convincing my mom that even she should start learning swimming because there were many ladies of my mom's age who used to come there with their daughters to learn swimming. After some time she said " yes", I was so happy as well as excited.

So on day 2 my mom and I went to the sports academy and we took a 10 day pass for her. Then we went to the pool and I told my trainer that from today onwards my mom is also going to learn. I could see the nervousness on my mom's face she even told me that "Mai nhi jaaungi Paani Mai " πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ . But I told her to calm down "the water level is not that high you will not drown". Slowly and slowly she started getting inside the pool the coach told her to do that was told to me on day 1, and I was told to do something else on day 2. So basically we had been told to do different things.
I was just observing her, she was quite nervous but after some time she was very normal and she started loving it. There were many ladies who became her friend and were supporting her. After some time our 45 min session was done!! . We had to come out of the pool. We both really enjoyed that day.
Slowly days passed by we were given different instructions every time we went to the pool.

On day 5 we were told to remove our floaters and that was one of the scariest things. It took little time to get used to the water. But we both enjoyed a lot😍 .
So daily we used to go there. In those 10 days, we learned the technique completely and we could swim now!! . It was one of the most amazing times of my life. Daily I could see my mom progressing, the feeling that she was enjoying in the pool was soo amazing😍😍😍😍.
Now because of my college, we are able to visit that place on Sundays only.

I would suggest that do try to learn something that you love

Nothing is impossible
If I can do it
If my 43-year mom can do it !!!
Then you can also do it !!!

That's all for today. I hope you guys like it enjoy your time !! Peace out!!!
