Solang Valley | Travel diaries part 5

I was already getting late for breakfast,  I quickly took a warm shower, grabbed my jacket, and went to the breakfast area. Today was the day we were about to visit The Solang valley. I was very excited to play with the snow, to make the snowman, to throw snowballs at my friends, and to just roll over and over again in the snow. I took 2 boiled eggs, bread-butter, and a coffee and sat next to my friends. The view from the hotel was like heaven, having our breakfast, with the mesmerizing view was surreal.  We were informed to make a group of 10 people. As we were about to go in the van because the buses can't go to that place. So this is how everyone was sitting: two of my friends were sitting next to the driver, the other three were sitting in the front row, me and my three friends were in the back seat. Travel diaries - Part 1

I have never been away from my parents and went on a trip for ten days. This was the first time that I ever went on a trip for more than a day with my buddies; with whom I had spent more time than my family during my engineering days. I did all sorts of things for this trip: from going shopping with my mom for warm clothing to video calls with my girls and sending pictures to them of the things I had bought that day. The excitement just kept increasing day by day. Deep within my subconscious mind, I knew this trip was going to be important for me. It was going to help me escape from all my daily thoughts and stress, and I just wanted to relax and enjoy nature. Manali | Travel diaries part 4

Read what happened before this . The bus journey is something that never excites me and to be honest, I hate traveling in the bus for hours. I can easily manage 2-3 hours of journey but, traveling for 8-9 hours was already making me a bit sick. nevertheless, it was around 11 pm.  The temperature had already started to decrease. I grabbed my blanket,  listening to bellyache by Billie Eilish and was staring outside the window. It was very dark, the mountains and the trees standing tough were trying to convey something to me. As the Himachal roads are one-way roads, I could only see the lights, coming from the vehicles from the front. Soon I realize that I was completely lost. The song that I was listening too, had no meaning for me, those beats that I loved the most, were something inaudible to me.
