My Childhood Days
So I am a 20-year-old girl. So during my childhood days, my dad was in the navy, so we used to live in Navy Nagar (a place where all naval people live with their family).
As a naval brat, my dad always used to get transfers and all, so we just used to change places. I have been to Goa, Dehradun, Vishakapatnam, etc and in the end, he was transferred to Mumbai, and from that time I'm here landed in Mumbai "The city of dreams" as it is known to be.
So there was a place where I used to go with him to swimming. Good old days!! But I couldn't ever learn as a small kid. There used to be a tube around my body and I used to just play in the water. My dad used to tell me, "push your legs in this manner, move your hands properly" and all those sorts of things. But as a small kid, I just used to love playing in the water. So, days passed by and my dad retired from the Indian Navy. Then, he got a job in a company, which was very far away from where we used to live. So we decided to shift to a place nearer to his office. After a few months, we shifted to a new place. Everything was very different here, a new school, new people, new surroundings. But whatever it was, it wasn't that great like it was in Navy Nagar.
Seconds, minutes, hours, days, and months passed by and we started getting used to that environment. I never made friends at that place. I only made friends at school. Two years later, my dad bought a new flat. I still remember he took a big decision, he couldn't sleep for a few nights because, at that time, it was a huge amount for him to spend. After a few, months we waited for that flat to get completely ready, and then we shifted to that place. And now it's been almost 8-9 years I have been attached to this home, I have spent half of my childhood here. I just love this place now and I am totally attached to this place.
Whatever it is, I just miss my childhood days.
Whatever happens, happens for good.
