Travel diaries - part 2

As soon as we reached New Delhi station, it was about a 10 minutes walk towards the spot where our bus was already parked. After boarding the bus, we were provided with packaged food and water bottles, we then had our meal and started our journey towards Chandigarh. It was about 5-6 hours drive to reach our hotel. To pass some time, we all started playing a few games. We played for a while and then we all got really tired. Few of us took a small nap, while others were singing songs and enjoying with each other. I was sitting beside the window and enjoying the view. Later, the sunlight came right on my face which was making me uncomfortable. So, I took my scarf; placed it on my face, and slept. While I was dreaming about the mountains, the snowfall, and the amazing beauty of Himachal, one of my friends shouted that "result aaa Gaya". For a moment, I couldn't believe what he said. My mind wasn't ready for that news. I was so excited about how the trip was going and suddenly my emotions changed from excitement to nervousness. I looked into my friend's eyes who was sitting next to me. We silently kept staring at each other. Within a fraction of seconds, everything was changed. I could feel the nervousness in everyone's eyes. My heart started pumping so fast. The result had finally arrived in the WhatsApp group in the form of a PDF. One of my friends downloaded the PDF and checked everyone's results and started shouting everyone's name with their score. Almost everyone had cleared the exam and were very happy. Everyone congratulated each other and started screaming in joy. I called my mum and told her about the result and she was quite happy with it.

Later we took a 15-minute halt and got down the bus to loosen ourselves as there wasn't enough legroom on the bus. Now, we were only 2 hours away from our destination. I took a little nap again and when I woke up we had finally reached our destination. As I stepped from the bus the weather was quite cold. It was about 15 degrees but I was enjoying it a lot. Then, we took our luggage and went to the rooms allotted to us. As I entered the room, I was so happy to see the stunning room. I saw the bed and just wanted to jump on it. My little brain was so excited that it just wanted to take pictures, videos and make fun vlogs about the room. But I was so tired that I  kept the luggage at the corner of the room and slowly lay down on the bed calming my nerves to take some rest. A while later I wanted to take a bath but the water was too cold so I just freshened up and had my dinner. As the dinner was about to end, we were informed to get up early in the morning as we had a great plan for the next day.
As I woke up in the morning, the weather was quite cold. I was feeling so warm and cozy in the blanket that I didn't want to pull off the blanket and slept for another 15 minutes. My friend woke me up again. As I slowly stepped out of the bed, the cold floor sent shivers up to my entire body which made me walk on my toes as I was struggling to reach the table where I had kept my phone. I quickly grabbed the phone and jumped on the bed and called my mum.

After the call, I had a big question in mind. Should I take a shower?. My subconscious was trying so hard to convince myself to avoid bathing. After the debate between me and my subconscious, I finally took a bath, got ready and went for breakfast. We had a variety of options. I took a few boiled eggs and a hot cup of coffee. After that, we boarded our bus and started our day.
